I serve as the Editor-In-Chief of The Grandview Chronicle at Grandview High School in Aurora, Colorado.

My sophomore year, COVID array and school reduced to a cohort schedule, I signed up for Newspaper on a whim, remembering how I'd enjoyed Intro to Journalism the prior year. Two weeks into that year, even with a small staff and lack of school events, I fell head over heels in love with the art of storytelling, and the Chronicle culture and community.

Fast forward two years, and I still haven't lost that burning passion for the class found in U120 ever 4A period. From teaching lessons, taking freshman to their first photographing experience, following our various sports team to state championship games, to highlighting unique experiences within our school community, I never know what a day will hope for me anyone. And I love it.

While my time with The Chronicle is drawing to a close, and I will soon hand off the reins to someone else, I hope our staff continues to grow, our stories to shine and connect people, and above all else, for our culture to remain the center unit of the publication.
